Further Developments

No news have been heard from Planet Artemisium for a while, and Admiral Babur and his brave soldiers are now all considered dead, wiped out by the invading Rai spacefleet. The Rai attack had been so swift and overwhelming that only the most distant outposts of the Alliance of Seven Satellites had any inkling that something was going on. Certainly the major powers in the galaxy, Havvacor and planet Banimon, remain blissfully unaware of the enemy’s proximity.

On Havvacor, the sizable population of Tarmellian immigrants petitioned to be allowed to start repopulating their devastated home planet. Tarmellion had been destroyed during the early stages of the Banigoth Space Invasion, but it recovered rather quickly to the point where it can support life again.

On planet Banimon, the Underwater City expedition has entered the mouth of the Red River, and continues it’s exploration up-river. Remaining undetected themselves, Major Hidook’s scouts have taken stock of the Banigoth and Red Army positions on each bank. It was only at this moment that they fully became aware of the formidable advances of the civilization that followed theirs. This was not a virgin land ready to be exploited, but a battlefield, fought over by forces with power beyond their own. In short, their old home now had new tenants. Understanding the situation fully, and at last abandoning his dreams of glory and exploration, Major Hidook quietly turned his tiny fleet around and sailed back into the sea, undetected.
