Intermezzo

While everybody is consumed with waiting for the new combined Havvacor, Banigoth and Khar-Hurrian fleet to be outfitted and sent to hunt down pirates, back on Planet Banimon a few things are happening under the radar.

For one, Red Army Men have consolidated their position around Arigato Plains, taking advantage of the truce with Banigoth and the partially reopened supply lines to get back to a modicum of fighting force. They know, however, that they will never again be able to match the Banigoth war machine pound-for-pound, so they must find a creative way out of this predicament before it’s too late. After Banigoth have dealt with the pirate menace and their annoying Khar-Hurrian trade partners, they should be able to address this persistent enemy once and for all.

Further north, a small expedition is slowly advancing thru the frozen North, gingerly snaking towards The Drain. Old legends say that The Drain leads to a network of tunnels that connect all of Planet Banimon, built and then abandoned by the Old Race. In the last 100 years nobody has even tried this dangerous descent, but after the recent Banigoth Operation Cleanup, some of the surviving rebels seem to have done just that. A closer look at this small party reveals some familiar faces that haven’t been seen around these parts for a while. What is their business this far North, and could they truly be contemplating going down The Drain?
