The siege of Banisseum

A month after the Battle of Two Rivers, Revolutionary Army is tenaciously digging in along both riverbanks on the Arigato Plains, in the anticipation of the coming Banigoth onslaught. For the time being however, everything is quiet, and the Red Army Men are tightening their noose around Banisseum. The Banigoth garrison is in dire need of provisions, and by latest reports they have been reduced to eating the faux-leather seat covers of the Banisseum, as they desperately await a relief force.

They will be disappointed to find out that relief is not coming. In a top-secret meeting, the Banigoth High Command has decided that Banisseum is not strategically important enough to warrant rescuing, and the garrison is to be abandoned to it’s fate. Instead, The Horde is focusing on building up their new Mech Division and building up forces for a proper offensive against the Revolutionary Army defences. Unlike the last time the two armies clashed, this one figures to be a foregone conclusion, with the Banigoth forces on the ascendency after their victory at the Battle of Two Rivers. In possession of both existing spaceports on Planet Banimon, they have also denied Red Army Men means of resupply from their ally Havvacor.

Unbeknownst to them however, the Revolutionary Army still has one last card to play. The Banisseum. If they can capture it and then also locate the legendary mushroom Banimon, they will have everything they need to stage Banimon Games. And should their team win, unleashing the power of the magic mushroom will not only make them the unquestioned masters of Planet Banimon, but turn them into an intra-galactic force to be reckoned with. The key to finding Banimon will be Tesla. Both have been missing since the last Banimon Games (See Banimon Comic #3) and could be virtually anywhere.
